nintendo switch Do you think the DS/3DS is done for because of the Switch?

With the Switch being a hybrid handheld console, it makes me wonder if the DS and 3DS platform will continue on. I think games are still made for the 3DS, but I don't know for how long. DO you ever think they will make a new 3DS or DS handheld? Or is the Switch their official new handheld?

Yeah they have already discontinued them so once what is sold is sold, they are gone. I still have my 3DS and plan on keeping it just because I might one day want to play an older game. I still have my Gameboy Color but I did sell my DS Lite which I got back in 2006 or 2007 I think it was.

Of course, it's done because of the Switch. The Switch has well and truly taken over. They shipped more than 61 million Switch consoles as of the end of June 2020.
